A huge thank you to all Tennyson Ward residents who participated in the election yesterday. There certainly were some challenges at some of the booths with the ECQ. Thank you for your patience and support for the local school, church and community groups raising funds to help others.

I love standing up for this community and I am honoured to have been re-elected as your local Councillor. It looks like my margin has increased slightly to 76%. For those interested in such things that’s the highest margin in the city. 😎 Counting is still occurring in some seats but Adrian Schrinner has retained his majority at Council. While I’m still the only independent 🙌 it looks like there will be 1-2 new greens Councillors in the chamber this term.

A huge public shout out to my brilliant staff and volunteers without whom this would not have been possible.

Brisbane might be a big city but we are a thriving, resilient, diverse and creative community first here in Tennyson Ward. Thank you 🥰

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of @halfdozengroupofartists President @annstriniart 's latest works last week. Ann's fabulous collection of paintings, "Cocktails in the Library," is now on display at Indooroopilly Library until the end of April. Congratulations Ann 👏
